Here is a list of commonly asked questions regarding Lights & Lamps sold by MicksGarage.com
Where can I find Lamps for my vehicle?
Just CLICK HERE, enter your vehicle registration number OR vehicle make / model where indicated, and you will be shown a list of all lamps that fit your vehicle.
Will the lamp(s) fit both left hand & right hand drive vehicles?
99% lamps are only for right hand drive vehicles (RHD). Unless specified on the site, our lamps are not suitable for left hand drive vehicles (LHD).
Does the lamp(s) come with bulbs?
The majority of the lamps sold on MicksGarage.com do not come with bulbs, however our site may also list the bulb type required. Unless stated on the product listing 'with bulbs' , the bulbs for the lamp will need to be purchased separately.
Does the lamp(s) come with Bulb holders?
The majority of our lamps do not come with bulb holders unless this is specifically stated on the product listing. We have found that in a lot of cases, the existing bulb holder can be used on the vehicle or you may be able to source one from your local breakers yard.
Is the lamp a Halogen, Xenon or LED type?
We try to include this information on every lamp(s) we have listed on MicksGarage.com. However unless stated (Xenon or LED) the majority of our lamps are standard Halogen lamps. If you are unsure of the type of lamp on your vehicle, this should be noted in your owners manual or your local main dealer will be able to confirm this by providing them with your vehicle registration number.
There are two options listed on the site for my vehicle, with different dates. What does this mean?
As per our buying guide on the site, http://www.micksgarage.com/about/buying-guide.aspx the reg look up will only show the base model of the vehicle. Certain vehicle attributes can be changed on a model of vehicle at any given time by the manufacturer of the vehicle. However here at MicksGarage.com we try to include as much information on the site where possible and if you are still unsure, you could contact us by emailing info@micksgarage.com and we would be delighted to help.
For example:
The vehicle can be classed as a model 2002-2007 but the manufacturer of the vehicle may have changed the lamps on the vehicle during this time period. IE 2002-2005 or the 2005-2007 model.
When the site says DATE LIMITATION this means there was a model change & the dates shown on the site should be noted before ordering.
