Window Regulators
Here is a list of commonly asked questions in regards to the window regulators sold on MicksGarage.com.
Where can I find Window Regulators on MicksGarage.com?
Just CLICK HERE, enter your vehicle registration number OR vehicle make & model and you'll be shown a list of all window regulators for your vehicle.
Is there a motor included?
All of the regulators on MicksGarage.com should state if a motor is included or not. This information is usually listed in the item details.
How do I know if the motor needs replacing?
If there is a noise coming from the door when you press the window button, this means the motor is still operational even if the window does not move. However we do recommended that you get this checked in case the motor's attachments have been damaged.
What is the comfort/one touch function?
Some vehicles have regulators that feature a one touch function. This allows the window to be raised or lowered with a single press of the button. Another possible safety feature is the anti-pinch function which lowers the window if there is an obstruction such as a person's hand. It is important to know if your vehicle has these features as there will be differences in the regulator that will prevent it from fitting or working properly.
Are there any other differences?
Our registration lookup can sometimes not predict if some vehicles have 3 or 5 doors so it is important that you check for the corresponding regulators for the number of door on your vehicle.
